An array of workshops and retreats are offered throughout the year. Retreat to Raven’s Crest, a working farm overlooking the Potomac River, to experience inspiring views and a tranquil setting to renew, recharge, and learn while supporting the preservation of farmland.

We will discuss tonic herbs and medicinal mushrooms, explore anti-viral essential oils, and seasonal foods that increase our vitality and immunity. Participants will enjoy a hands-on portion of the class making and sampling immune-enhancing teas and food, exploring essential oils and making their own aromatherapy blends.

Explore which oils are most effective for cognitive enhancement, offer inspiration and motivation, and help ease anxiety and depression in safe, nurturing applications. Participants will apply their new knowledge of essential oils in a hands-on portion of the class, making their own blends.

Anyone can write and I promise it is fun! We will learn how to incorporate all senses into your writing and some fun writing prompts to get your creative juices flowing. You will also have plenty of time in the peace and tranquility of Ravens Crest for private writing time. The day will end with gentle feedback for those that want it. All levels are welcome and positive feedback is promised!

Hands-on workshop where you will learn to make yeast rolls and herbed butter. We will do some taste testing while in the workshop and then you take home at least a half dozen rolls to let your family try what you have made. Class includes all supplies.

This is a hands-on workshop where you will learn to make French baguettes. We will do some taste testing while in the workshop and then you take home dough ready to make fresh bread at home. Class includes all supplies including a baguette pan you keep.
All retreats and workshops are held in Newburg, MD. Unless noted, they are held rain or shine (unless a rain date is noted). There are no refunds once purchased but you can transfer it to a friend. If the minimum participants is not reached, the workshop will be cancelled at least a week in advance and you will be refunded in full. Once the maximum is reached, then the event will be removed from the page for purchase. After purchase, you will receive details including street address and a pre-retreat questionnaire so we can tailor the experience to the participants and get food and other preferences. We welcome any questions you may have before or after purchase.
