Join the Hills Bridge Beagles for a day of beagling at historic Ravens Crest. Beagling is a country sport similar to fox chasing. You will have the opportunity to follow along behind the pack as they search brush and field for rabbits. This is a no gun event and rabbits are not shot.

There will be a potluck lunch after in the farmhouse. Feel free to attend just the beagling or bring a dish to share and a desire to meet other fabulous people. If the weather forces a cancellation, it will be posted here. This is a free event but please sign up so we know how to plan for parking and paper goods.

Please dress for the weather and field — boots, warm coats, etc. Children are welcome but please do not bring pets.

I will send directions to the farm and any details or updates to those that register.

All retreats and workshops are held at Raven’s Crest in Newburg, MD. Unless noted, they are held rain or shine. There are no refunds once purchased but you can transfer it to a friend. If the minimum participants is not reached, the workshop will be cancelled at least a week in advance and you will be refunded in full. Once the maximum is reached, then the event will be removed from the page for purchase. After purchase, you will receive details including street address and a pre-retreat questionnaire so we can tailor the experience to the participants and get food or other preferences. We welcome any questions you may have before or after purchase.
