This is a hands-on workshop where you will learn to make yeast rolls and herbed butter. We will do some taste testing while in the workshop and then you take home at least a half dozen rolls to let your family try what you have made. Class includes all supplies.
Even if you have never baked before you will be learn that bread is not that hard — it only has a few ingredients that you likely already have in your pantry. It is both fun and tasty to make bread!
Workshop is held in the kitchen at Ravens Crest and you will have time to explore the historic house and enjoy the sunset over the Potomac. Feel free to bring wine or other beverage to enjoy – we will have coffee, tea and water as well as other snacks throughout the workshop.
Within 24 hours of signing up you will receive a welcome email with directions to the farm.
** Your safety is important to us so the workshop has been limited to no more than 8 participants. There is plenty of space for distancing in the house and on the grounds. While masks are not currently required in Charles County, each person should mask as they feel comfortable and individual needs for spacing will be honored. **

All retreats and workshops are held at Raven’s Crest in Newburg, MD. Unless noted, they are held rain or shine. There are no refunds once purchased but you can transfer it to a friend. If the minimum participants is not reached, the workshop will be cancelled at least a week in advance and you will be refunded in full. Once the maximum is reached, then the event will be removed from the page for purchase. After purchase, you will receive details including street address and a pre-retreat questionnaire so we can tailor the experience to the participants and get food or other preferences. We welcome any questions you may have before or after purchase.
