Government Contracting 101

Saturday, October 24: 8 am – 12 pm

Taught by the author of Start, Manage & Exit A Profitable Government Contracting Firm, this hands-on workshop will cover topics including:

  • Government Acquisition Lifecyle
  • Finding Opportunities and Deciding which to bid
  • Proposal Development
  • Rate Development, and
  • Maximizing Profit

The class will be limited to no more than 7 participants and you are encouraged to bring your laptop so you can create and refine spreadsheets and tools that will be used for your individual business.

The class will include a signed copy of the book.

Workshop to be held at historic Ravens Crest and you will have time to explore the grounds and historic house before and after the class if you choose.

The week prior to the workshop you will receive a welcome email with directions to the farm but feel free to reach out with any questions prior on the Contact Page.

Cost of class is $175 and must be prepaid. Sign up on Contact page and instructions for payment via Venmo or Paypal or check will be sent.

Minimum participants – 3, Maximum 7.

All retreats and workshops are held at Raven’s Crest in Newburg, MD. Unless noted, they are held rain or shine. There are no refunds once purchased but you can transfer it to a friend. If the minimum participants is not reached, the workshop will be cancelled at least a week in advance and you will be refunded in full. Once the maximum is reached, then the event will be removed from the page for purchase. After purchase, you will receive details including street address and a pre-retreat questionnaire so we can tailor the experience to the participants. We welcome any questions you may have before or after purchase.
